Extracurricular Activites

At Little Blessings International School, it is of utmost importance for us to strengthen our comprehensive school curriculum and as such we offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities for our children.

We believe that every child needs to be involved in at least one extracurricular activity as they learn many important life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving skills and other things they will need to grow up into well-balanced adults in life.

We are pleased to offer a wide range of extracurricular activities. Listed below are the activities that are currently being offered at LBIS and its potential benefits:

Piano: Piano lessons encourage creativity, discipline, and patience.

Ballet: Children learn to follow instructions and gain a sense of discipline through learning new positions. It also helps to improve a child’s posture.

Swim: Swimming classes create awareness, especially about personal safety. It also helps children develop personal growth, which helps with self-development.

Afro/Contemporary Dance: Afro/Contemporary dance helps to build confidence and coordination in children. It also helps to develop kinesthetic intelligence.

Creative activities (Little Chefs & Beading): Cooking classes and beading are both classes that help children with imagination and creative thinking.

Soccer:  Soccer requires teamwork and a lot of energy. Children learn how to work well in a team, how to strategize and they also build a lot of endurance.

Academic Enrichment: After school educational classes are excellent for both children who are excelling and children who need a little bit of a push in a particular subject area.
