Admission Requirements

As an equal opportunity institution, Little Blessings International School considers applications for enrollment, regardless of race, religion, color, sex and national origin . Enrollment packets are provided to interested parents/guardians upon completion of an “Orientation Tour”. All admission requirements must be met at least two business days prior to the child’s first day of attendance.

Orientation Tour

We require all children to tour Little Blessings International School at least once prior to enrollment. This visit gives you and your child a chance to meet teachers, future friends, and to see the new surroundings.

Admission requirements are as follows:

  • An Enrollment Form must be completed for each child that will attend Little Blessings International School.
  • A Physician’s Health Statement and a current Immunization Record is required for all children.
  • A signed copy of the Authorization for Emergency Medical Care form must be on file for each child.
  • A signed copy of the Parent Agreement Contract (the last page of this Handbook) must be on file.
  • A completed copy of Infant Feeding Instructions is required for all children less than one year old.

Please be sure to update all emergency information as needed, including address, home and work telephone numbers, and individuals authorized to pick up your child.

Preschool Admission: An oral assessment will be conducted to ascertain learners developmental level and how best to support them.

Primary Admission: A written entrance assessment will be administered to learners applying for Year 1 and upper classes.

The results of the assessment will be taken into consideration in offers for admission.

Upon receiving a formal offer of admission from the school, parents must confirm their acceptance of the offer and pay all related fees prior to entry to the school. These fees are, but not limited to the admission fees, tuition fees, uniform, activity which are graded according to your child’s year group.

SCHOOL ADMISSION POLICY

At LBIS our policy is to place children in their age-appropriate Year group. We also consider a student’s previous school experience, which is done on a case by case basis looking at formal years of schooling rather than ability in subject areas.

Child Class Placement (Preschool)

  Age of Student at 31st August before the start of the school year. Age of Student at 31st August after the end of  school year.
